Why Raw and Unrefined?

During the refinement process foods are often heated, bleached, and filtered through toxic substances to give them the appearance of being cleaner, clearer and more pure; ironically, this process can strip food of all or most of it’s vital flavors and nutrients. When we allow our food to remain in a natural state, our body is able to reap the benefits of higher nutritional value, ease in digestion and absorption, and non-toxicity.
